About
I seek to provide effective treatment, regardless of the disorder that each of my clients may or may not have.
Effective treatment starts with.... listening.
At Mindful Change Wellness, I tailor each person's treatment to not only their individual needs, but also based on the things they are experiencing in their day to day life, and the way in which they interact with the world around them.
There are many issues that can be potentially disrupting to not only their functioning, but also their lives, and the relationships they have with the people that are important to them. My mission is to help all of my clients improve their ability to function, and build better coping skills to help them to deal with all stressors in their life.
My therapy style is mostly behavioral (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). However, I consider myself to be more eclectic, which means I use elements from most types of therapy, and tailor those elements to fit each client's individual needs. No two people are alike, just as no two treatments are alike. I believe that treatment plans should not be based on what therapy I am most comfortable with using, but it should be based on your individual needs, and preferences.
My goal is to help all my clients to live a better life, in which they are happy.
